Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Float DSP/Caregiver to support designated units across multiple locations including Hendersonville, Brevard, Asheville, and Burnsville. The role is temporary and not benefits eligible, with a starting pay range of $17.00–$19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include staffing coverage, helping individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs, implementing plans, and maintaining required licensure and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct caregiving experience in an IDD setting.
• Behavioral health experience preferred for some units.

Responsibilities

• Assist designated units with staffing needs such as vacancies and census above budget through the placement of experienced direct support professionals (DSP).
• Support individuals and/or groups of persons with disabilities in the community.
• Identify and communicate requests and needs for services and supports to achieve goals.
• Implement services and supports to address goals and outcomes in each person’s Centered Plan.
• Consider individuals’ personal history, social/family networks, and hopes for the future.
