Dungarvin in Bertram, TX is seeking a Direct Support Professional Float (DSPF) to provide direct care and clerical support to individuals with disabilities. You will deliver person-centered supports and assist with daily living tasks while coordinating activities across programs.

This role offers cross-training across multiple programs in the Bertram area, with a starting pay of $11/hour and a $500 sign-on bonus for select programs. Benefits include paid training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Job Description

A Direct Support Professional Float (DSPF) caregiver is responsible for providing clerical and technical support in maintaining health services delivery to individuals as well as providing direct care. The DSP Float provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect. Work assignments may be during any scheduled hours and at any sites where Dungarvin provides services

• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Schedule appointments and outings for individuals, coordinate and provide transportation for individuals to and from the community
• Establish and maintain individual’s medical records, both active and inactive, in accordance with established policies and procedures

• Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
