Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of prior experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid Driver's License (due to transporting persons served).
• A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process.
• Good communication is key in this role; you’ll document care and follow support plans.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Schedule appointments and outings for individuals, coordinate and provide transportation for individuals to and from the community.
• Establish and maintain individual's medical records in accordance with policies.

Starting Pay: $11/hour

Schedule: Will vary based on the needs of the programs (Must be flexible)

Job Description

Direct Support Professional Float (DSPF) caregiver is responsible for providing clerical and technical support in maintaining health services delivery to individuals as well as providing direct care. The DSP Float provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect. Work assignments may be during any scheduled hours and at any sites where Dungarvin provides services.
