Peace of Mind Duluth is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals in their homes and community settings, enhancing quality of life and fostering independence. DSPs will provide personalized, one-on-one support and collaborate with families and case managers to deliver holistic care.

Responsibilities include promoting daily living skills, documenting activities, and engaging individuals in meaningful community involvement and activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successful background clearance.
• Able to work every other weekend/holiday.

• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes socialization and community engagement.
• Support individuals in developing and enhancing daily living skills to promote independence.
• Identify and implement opportunities for skill-building activities and experiences.
• Maintain open and effective communication with individuals, their families, and other team members.
• Collaborate with case managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of daily activities, achievements, and any incidents as required.
• Floats are responsible for training at 2 houses, and going wherever needs coverage the most for that day.

Skills
