Responsibilities include following regulatory procedures, documenting maintenance data, and communicating results to staff. Schedule is Mon–Thu 8:00am–5:30pm, Fri 8:00am–1:00pm, with benefits available.

Qualificações

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer inquiries and relay results as needed.
