Job summary

VNA Health Group is seeking a compassionate Float Certified Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team. This role travels between Asbury Park, Red Bank, Freehold, and Keyport to support four Community Health Center locations and ensure smooth, efficient visits.

The position requires a Medical Assistant certificate and CPR certification, plus strong communication and interpersonal skills. A NJ driver’s license is required and a $2k sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certificate from an approved school.
• CPR certification and valid New Jersey driver's license

Responsibilities

• Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.
• Assists provider with patient workflow and maintaining clinical records.
• Executes order and performs related duties as ordered according to standard operating procedure.
• Maintains laboratory proficiency and required log books and records.
• Assists in coordination, management and documentation of medications, supplies and referrals.
• Adheres to infection control and safety policies.
• Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance.
• Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position
