Job summary

VNACJ Community Health Center seeks a Float Certified Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team. You will travel between four New Jersey locations—Asbury Park, Red Bank, Freehold, and Keyport—supporting providers and ensuring every visit is smooth and patient‑centered.

You will assist with patient flow, maintain clinical records, and manage medications, supplies, and referrals in a collaborative care setting. A $2,000 sign‑on bonus is offered along with a commitment to professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved school.
• 6+ months supervised medical assistant experience preferred.
• Experience in EKG and phlebotomy.
• CPR certification.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supports provider with patient workflow and maintains clinical records.
• Executes orders and performs related duties per standard operating procedures.
• Maintains laboratory proficiency and required log books and records.
• Assists in coordination, management and documentation of medications, supplies and referrals.
• Adheres to infection control and safety policies.
• Complies with the organization’s absenteeism and appearance policies.
