Joby Aviation is seeking a Senior Flight Test Technical Program Manager to own long-range flight test strategy and cross-program orchestration through certification. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in development or certification flight test.
• Deep understanding of flight test operations and certification pathways (Part 23/27/25).
• Experience establishing long-range flight test schedules and fleet resource strategy.
• Direct experience owning a flight test program's IMS strategy.
• Experience partnering with a PMO and cross-functional Technical Program Managers.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for senior and junior staff.
• Ability to distill complex problems into executive-level decisions.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Own the long-range program strategy for flight test through certification.
• Set IMS strategy across flight test aircraft and assets.
• Lead weekly/monthly synthesis of fleet-level risk and prioritization.
• Deliver executive-level risk and schedule briefings to leadership.
• Own strategic planning for all flight test operations.
• Define long-term critical path for flight test contributions to milestones.
• Coordinate test deployments and external test site footprint considerations.
• Represent flight test in fleet allocation and utilization strategy.
• Drive test campaigns from requirements through execution.
• Liaise with PMO to integrate flight test plans into vehicle programs.
• Interface with flight test engineering, design, safety, and certification teams.
