Qualifications

• BS degree in aerospace or related STEM field.
• 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience in flight testing, aircraft maintenance engineering, or systems integration.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary technical teams in aerospace flight test.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft configuration control, mass properties tracking, and maintenance release processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and fleet issue tracking using enterprise tools (JIRA/IFS/PLM/ERP).
• Excellent cross-functional communication across design, maintenance, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of aircraft engineers and maintainers, fostering safety and disciplined configuration management.
• Serve as the central engineering authority between flight test and design teams to troubleshoot, prioritize, and clear aircraft for test missions.
• Oversee configuration baselines, mass properties, limits, and records across enterprise tools (JIRA, IFS).
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance to plan work instructions, changes, and post-maintenance verifications.
• Collaborate with program management to schedule work packages, remove roadblocks, and optimize spares/logistics to sustain high tempo.
