Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Flight Test Manager to support the AFRL Autonomous Air Refueling effort at WPAFB, OH. Lead flight test guidance, manage test plans, vendor evaluations, and acquisition activities for a high-visibility DoD program.

Responsibilities include coordinating test events, analyzing data, producing reports, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Active Secret clearance required; travel moderate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 6+ years of test and evaluation experience focused on DoD/AF programs.
• Ability to manage requirements verification and validation activities.
• Ability to lead planning and execution events.
• Proficiency with MBSE, risk management, requirements management, scheduling, and backlog tools.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors/test organizations to develop detailed test plans and monitor execution.
• Act as liaison to test stakeholders including contractors and program offices.
• Support development and monitoring of T&E processes across acquisition phases.
• Provide technical input and brief government leadership on T&E status.
• Monitor contractor performance and assess program objectives.
• Coordinate activities among engineering, scheduling, configuration/data management, test and logistics.
• Prepare flight test reports with results and recommendations.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance (AF/DoD).
• Identify safety risks and mitigation strategies.
• Manage planning and execution of complex flight test programs for various aircraft platforms.
