Job summary

Bombardier’s Learjet Inc. in Wichita, Kansas, seeks a Flight Test Inspector to join a team responsible for preflight, in-flight, and ground test inspections of experimental aircraft.

You will witness and inspect installations, document discrepancies, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety requirements before flight. Two years’ experience and a preferred airframe & powerplant license are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in preflight or flight test inspection on aircraft (prefer experimental).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
• Ability to use precision measurement instruments and related equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, pre/post flight, and final inspections of experimental aircraft to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Witness and inspect installation of all experimental ground test articles.
• Document discrepancies and coordinate resolution with assigned technicians or engineering.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and flight-test work orders.
