Bombardier is seeking a Flight Test Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 program in Wichita, KS. You will work within the Flight Operations group at the Bombardier Flight Test Center, assisting with test planning, readiness, execution and reporting on test flights for cutting-edge business aircraft, under supervision of a permanent employee.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist with test planning, readiness, execution and reporting on flight tests.
• Operate cabin test instrumentation and record results.
• Coordinate testing with other disciplines and teams.
• Prepare and review test plans, instructions, and post-flight reports.
• Configure test aircraft and experimental equipment.
• Develop safety-critical real-time data displays and derived parameters.
• Follow safety and regulatory procedures (FAA/Transport Canada).
