Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Willing to travel 25–50% domestically and internationally.
• 1+ year of lab/test or flight test experience.
• 1+ year authoring test plans/cards.
• 1+ year experience in flight test environment as flight test engineer/conductor/director.

Responsibilities

• Plan, author, and coordinate modifications across teams/sites.
• Manage multiple programs concurrently.
• Prepare flight prep sheets for maintenance.
• Support distributed test operations.
• Plan flight test requirements with internal/external customers.
• Develop flight test/profiles, publish plans, and schedules.
• Coordinate test ranges/facilities with agencies.
• Lead readiness reviews and pre/post-test briefings.
• Conduct ground and flight tests per plans.
• Analyze post-test data and resolve issues.
• Publish test summaries/reports.
• Lead remote site deployments.
• Document standardized test methods and processes.
• Apply lessons learned to procedures.
• Oversee test team debriefings.
• Approve test data prior to delivery.
• Set expectations for data based on history.
• Work under minimal direction.
