Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Flight Test Engineer for the Altius UAS platform. You will plan, execute, and report on software/hardware testing, coordinating with pilots, SMEs, and operations to ensure reliable performance.

Required: a technical degree, strong communication, and certification readiness (FAA Part 107/61). Extensive test planning, configuration management, and collaboration across teams are essential for successful evaluation of system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related technical discipline required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
• Must be methodical, detail oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Test planning, execution, reporting, and evaluation of software/hardware under test.
• Plan test events at required test sites and manage test assets.
• Create evaluation plans and reports focusing on functionality and integration.
• Lead pre/post flight briefings and coordinate with pilots, SMEs, and operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams; document findings and test status.
• Collect sortie metrics and manage scheduling, safety mitigations, and risks.
