Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Flight Test Operator to support the flight test operations of small uncrewed fixed-wing aircraft. You will work with cross-department teams on Altius programs to assist planning, coordination, and execution of tests.

You will build, program, and maintain autonomous aircraft, run test scenarios with Test Engineers, and assist with installations at test sites. Must be able to travel 60% and obtain FAA certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as RC, RPIC or PIC on fixed wing aircraft.
• FAA Part 107 certificate and Part 61 ground school completion.
• Willingness to travel and ability to work extended hours.”

Responsibilities

• Assist with test, system checkouts, fly, and provide feedback on Altius for Test Engineering.
• Build, program, and maintain autonomous aircraft for flight.
• Coordinate flight test operations and demonstrations with Test Engineers.
• Assist with product installations at test sites.
• Support site management, maintenance, and inventory.
