Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Flight Test Engineer for the Ghost sUAS platform. You will plan, execute and evaluate tests of software and hardware to validate operational suitability and integration with the full system suite.

The role requires 1–3 years in flight testing, knowledge of test instrumentation, data acquisition, and regulatory awareness. Strong communication and field-test readiness skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.
• 1–3 years in flight testing, flight test planning, or aviation systems development.
• Hands-on experience with test instrumentation and data acquisition systems preferred.
• Understanding of flight test principles, planning, execution and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document plans and results clearly.
• FAA 14 CFR Part 107 certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Ghost engineering for test planning, execution, reporting and evaluation of the system under test (software/hardware).
• Support daily flight test operations and campaigns at multiple test locations.
• Manage test assets and configuration for multiple campaigns.
• Prepare for test readiness reviews and safety boards; create and disseminate test reports.
• Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to document findings and status.
• Interface daily with hardware and software engineering teams; collect and report metrics.
