Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Flight Test Operator to support testing of autonomous aircraft across our Altius programs. You will assist program leads, plan and execute flight test operations, and work closely with Test Engineers to solve hard problems that shape the industry.

This on-site role requires piloting experience on fixed-wing aircraft and FAA credentials, with travel up to 60% as needed. Join a fast-paced team delivering cutting-edge defense technology.

Qualifications

• Experience as RC, RPIC, or PIC on fixed wing Group 2 aircraft.
• Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 certificate and Part 61 ground school completion.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with flight controllers and autopilot logic.
• Knowledge of National Airspace regulations and operating restrictions.
• Experience with small UAS maintenance.
• Ability to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with test, system checkouts, fly, and provide feedback on Altius for Test Engineering.
• Build, program, and maintain autonomous aircraft for flight.
• Work with Test Engineers on operational tasks enabling engineering, such as flight execution and test profile support.
• Assist with product installations at test sites as needed.
• Assist Site Manager with maintenance, inventory, and equipment upkeep.
• Travel between test sites as required.
