Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a Flight Test Engineer focused on software/hardware capability development for the Altius UAS platform. You will lead system-level testing, coordinate with leadership, and drive testing across multiple teams to solve challenging problems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, the ability to obtain FAA Part 107/61 credentials, and readiness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 certification; Part 61 certification preferred or achievable.
• Experience with system-level testing and data analysis is a plus.
• Knowledge of UAS operations and airspace guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute system-level T&E of hardware and software with emphasis on resource planning.
• Collaborate with program management and engineering to develop requirements and report results.
• Perform safety and risk analyses for testing events.
• Collect test data and perform initial data analysis for the system under test.
• Coordinate ground and flight testing at test ranges; manage test assets and execution.
