Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Associate Flight Test Data Processing Software Engineer to join the Midwest Data Processing & Visualization team. You will develop and troubleshoot Windows-based software supporting flight test data collection, processing, and visualization.

Responsibilities include evolving legacy C++ and modern C# applications, building tests, and collaborating with users to refine requirements. A U.S. security clearance and a BS in a related field are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, CS, Data Science, Math, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ years of system integration, testing and troubleshooting.
• 1+ years of software development in C++ and C# using Visual Studio and .NET.

Responsibilities

• Develop or modify legacy (C++) or modern (C#) applications based on requirements.
• Develop unit or system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software integration issues and production anomalies.
• Research basic technologies for potential application to business needs.
• Collaborate within the team to develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve software tools.
• Develop understanding of flight test and data processing to assist operation teams.
• Apply software development practices that enhance code quality and reuse.
