Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate modern software solutions in a lab and production environment. The role focuses on building scalable lab environments with IaC, automating tests, and managing deployment pipelines on AWS/Azure.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement security practices, and prepare for US security clearance.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required; ability to obtain US security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, or ARM).
• Kubernetes/Rancher experience.
• Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog.
• Security and compliance awareness; familiarity with CIS/NIST or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lab Environment Provisioning: design, provision, and maintain scalable lab environments on-premises and cloud platforms using IaC tools.
• Automated Integration Testing Orchestration: develop and manage automated workflows for integration tests.
• Deployment Management: manage automated deployment pipelines for physical and virtual systems.
• Data-Driven Feedback & Reporting: collect and deliver feedback on product stability and performance.
• Collaboration & Communication: work with cross-functional teams to align deployment strategies and configurations.
• Security & Compliance: integrate security practices into provisioning, deployment, and testing processes.
