Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Flight Termination Engineer Lead to support the CHGB program. You will serve as the Responsible Engineer and IPT Lead for the Flight Termination System and lead technical reviews with government and industry partners.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience (or 12+ years without a degree) and has avionics, test, and RCC requirements experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• 8+ years of relevant experience (or 12+ years in lieu of degree) or MS with 6+ years.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to produce complex assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Responsible Engineer and IPT Lead for the Flight Termination System.
• Lead technical reviews, failure investigations, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist in requirement decomposition and interface with RCC Range Commanders Council.
• Conduct non-conformance and root cause investigations.
• Provide rapid integration and troubleshooting for system-level integration.
