Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the design and integration of advanced flight systems. You will create block diagrams, capture schematics, and perform PSPICE simulations while developing electrical requirements for complex platforms.

This role requires an active Secret clearance, experience in hypersonic systems, and the ability to obtain SAP approval. Relocation may be available and some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance at time of application
• Experience with hypersonic flight systems, missiles, etc.
• 5 years experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with a Master's; 1 year with a PhD

Responsibilities

• Design and develop flight systems across applications.
• Create functional block diagrams and schematics.
• Perform PSPICE simulations and electrical analyses.
• Develop electrical requirements and interface control documents.
• Design electrical system architecture including grounding and power distribution.
