Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer for the Flight Systems Futures team to drive design, development, procurement, manufacturing, integration and test of advanced flight systems.

You will develop functional block diagrams, capture schematics, run PSPICE simulations and create electrical requirements while collaborating with system engineers to ensure full system compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical systems for flight hardware and related platforms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance and SAP access.
• Experience with grounding and power distribution in aerospace environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional block diagrams (Visio preferred).
• Capture schematics (Altium preferred).
• Perform PSPICE electrical simulations.
• Develop electrical requirements and assist system engineers.
• Conduct electrical analysis to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Generate electrical interface control documents.
• Design electrical system architecture including grounding, power distribution, buses, and signals.
