Insitu, a Boeing company, is seeking a senior systems engineer to lead architecture, integration and verification across multiple engineering disciplines in a hybrid, on-site setting. You will shape system requirements, ensure traceability, and coordinate with program teams to meet customer objectives.

The role requires a BS or MS in engineering and 7–9+ years of relevant experience, with hands-on flight test experience and a strong analytical skillset. Relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• 7+ years with a Master’s degree or 9+ years with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Extensive expertise in systems engineering principles and practices.
• Strong analytical skills for requirements analysis and trade studies.
• Experience across aerospace disciplines and flight test activities.

Responsabilités

• Define systems concepts of operations to guide architecture, design, integration, and verification activities.
• Evaluate requirements decomposition for completeness, consistency, and feasibility.
• Review and approve functional and physical block diagrams and interfaces.
• Establish and maintain requirements traceability standards.
• Validate verification methodologies and QA standards for system/subsystem verification.
• Define and maintain system architectures and map functions to design.
• Lead integration activities across engineering disciplines.
• Apply systems engineering across the full development lifecycle.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable system requirements.
• Define design objectives and coordinate with program teams for alignment.
• Interact with senior external personnel and customers on technical matters.
