Job summary

Insitu, a Boeing Company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build real-time, safety-critical software for unmanned aircraft systems. You will lead development, solve challenging problems and mentor engineers across firmware and application software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics.
• 9–13 years in an engineering role or 7–11 years with a Master's degree.
• Experience with real-time software architecture and design.
• Ability to integrate hardware and software into a system.
• Experience with safety-critical systems.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Experience with embedded and application software development.
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and debugging software.
• Knowledge of C++, C, C#, Matlab.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux.
