Job summary

Rendezvous Robotics in Golden, Colorado is seeking a Manufacturing and Test Engineering Intern for Spring 2027. You will join a small team building next-generation spacecraft as we move from flight demonstration to operational systems.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Comfortable with hand tools, basic soldering, and hardware assembly.
Attention to detail and comfort working from written test procedures.

Responsibilities

Develop and own testbeds to manufacture and test subsystems (power, docking, communications).
Support spacecraft tile manufacturing, create work procedures, identify optimizations.
Build and refine fixtures and test jigs for repeatable hardware verification.
Track and troubleshoot manufacturing defects; feed findings back to design.
Help build test data pipelines so results are captured consistently across builds.
