Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent with GPA 3.0+
• U.S. citizen eligible for DoD security clearance
• 0–18 years of relevant technical experience
• Experience developing, integrating, testing, or troubleshooting embedded software or interfaces with embedded systems
• Knowledge of disciplined software engineering practices (requirements, config mgmt, version control, testing, etc.)
• Proficiency in one or more of C, C++, Java, C#, Rust, Python with ability to learn modern C++

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust modern, object-oriented C++ embedded software for airborne subsystems
• Develop software following coding and safety standards with peers
• Create, execute, and automate unit and integration tests
• Participate in Agile planning, estimation, and progress reporting
• Contribute to code reviews to maintain quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs
• Contribute to guides and technical data for fieldable software
• Use GitLab CI/CD for configuration management, CI, and testing
