Job summary

CAE is seeking an Instructor Pilot to deliver flight training in simulators and ground school, shaping pilots with CAE‑approved curricula and client specifications. You will act as a SME, guiding students through hands-on training and theory, and you may progress toward Training Center Evaluator status after 1.5+ years based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted ATP certificate or completion of ATP Written
• Unrestricted PIC Type Rating preferred
• Part 121 experience and 3,000 hours total flight time
• Must participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program
• Experience flying business aircraft is highly desired
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching others
• Must be authorized to live/work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Deliver flight training in a flight simulator and ground school per CAE curriculum and customer requirements
• Lead clients through training and act as SME in curricula and courseware creation
• Coordinate pre- and post-flight simulator briefings in a professional manner
• Aim to qualify as Training Center Evaluators (TCEs) after 1.5+ years depending on business needs
• Maintain training records and recommend remedial training when necessary
• Support admin duties related to training appointments and student progress
