Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
• Experience in developing flight simulation hardware solutions
• Knowledge of CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies
• Experience with hardware integration in HVAC, electrical distribution, grounding and safety
• Experience deploying flight training systems and agile hardware processes

Responsibilities

• Complete hardware design and development activities for power and control systems, motion platform integration, visual display systems, avionics interfaces, and ancillary equipment
• Lead end-to-end integration of new simulator hardware with building infrastructure including HVAC and fire/smoke systems
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production planning, manufacturing, and suppliers to meet schedules and deliver hardware on time
