Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC in Orlando seeks a Flight Simulator Hardware Engineer to lead hardware design for power and control systems, motion platforms, and visual display interfaces. You will coordinate with procurement, production planning, and suppliers to deliver interfaces and avionics on schedule.

Ideal candidates will have experience in flight simulation hardware, Creo/Windchill, and strong system integration skills, with a Bachelor's degree in engineering and hands-on implementation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
• Experience in developing flight simulation hardware solutions
• Experience applying hardware engineering processes in an Agile environment
• Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for HW
• Developing hardware architecture and interconnects from requirements

Responsibilities

• Complete hardware design and development activities for power and control systems, motion platform integration, visual display systems, avionics interfaces, and ancillary equipment
• Manage end to end integration of the new simulator hardware with the existing building infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical distribution, grounding, and fire and smoke monitoring systems
• Lead other Hardware Engineers and synchronize engineering, procurement, production planning, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure design is completed as scheduled
