The role requires a bachelor's in engineering, hands-on flight sim hardware experience, and a track record with PLM, CREO, and Agile teams. Travel and onsite collaboration in Orlando are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience developing flight simulation hardware solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry practices and design principles.
  • PLM-based design checking or non-conformance reports.
  • CREO layouts and drawings for ICDs, components, and assemblies.
  • HW architecture layouts and system interconnects.
  • Deriving hardware requirements from customer needs.
  • Building BOMs and design documentation.
  • Support for major design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
  • Experience applying hardware engineering in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

  • Complete hardware design and development for power/control, motion, displays, avionics, and peripherals.
  • Lead end-to-end integration with building utilities (HVAC, grounding, fire monitoring).
  • Guide engineers, procurement, and production to meet schedules with innovative solutions.
