Job summary

Donatech Corporation is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join a development team delivering an FAA Level D Full Flight Simulator for our customer. You will complete hardware design for power/control systems, motion platform integration, visual displays, avionics interfaces, and related equipment.

You will manage end-to-end integration with facility infrastructure, lead cross-functional teams and drive innovative solutions across complex problems in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in developing flight simulation hardware solutions on programs.
• Active development of new mechanical design engineering principles and industry practices.
• Issuing design checking approvals or non-conformance reports through the PLM tool.
• Creating CREO layouts and drawings for ICDs, components, subsystems.
• Developing HW architectures and interfaces between systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete hardware design and development for power and control systems, motion platform integration, visual displays, avionics interfaces, and ancillary equipment.
• Manage end-to-end integration of simulator hardware with building infrastructure including HVAC, electrical distribution, grounding, and fire/smoke monitoring.
• Lead other Hardware Engineers coordinating with engineering, procurement, production planning, manufacturing, and suppliers to meet schedules.
