Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineering Manager to lead the Flight Simulation Lab Software Team in Berkeley, MO. The role focuses on modeling and simulation for the MQ-25 Stingray autonomous drone, coordinating with hardware teams and Mission Systems to deliver advanced aircraft capabilities.

Ideal candidates will have leadership experience, agile practices, and a background in modeling/simulation or mission systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
US Citizenship required for security clearance.
5+ years’ leadership experience.
5+ years hardware/software integration, emulation, or testing.
1+ years experience in team scheduling, resource management, EV, risk, and project management.
1+ years experience with Modeling and Simulation Tools and Technologies.

Responsibilities

Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in Software Engineering.
Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures; provide input on strategies, goals and objectives.
Acquire resources for department activities; provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manage, develop and motivate employees.
