Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the Flight Simulation Labs in Berkeley, MO. You will lead the full product design lifecycle from proposal through testing and support, coordinating multiple teams and ensuring technical and schedule milestones are met.

You will drive EVM practices as CAM, build strong customer relationships, and work onsite with potential travel. A U.S. Security Clearance is required and relocation may be offered based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
• 9+ years related work experience or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in project management or project scheduling.
• 5+ years of experience leading a team or a project.
• 3+ years of experience building relationships with customers.
• 3+ years managing capital projects.
• Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution in design, procurement, building, integration, and testing of Flight Simulators and related facilities.
• Direct proposal development and determine activities, resources and schedule.
• Provide technical, business and integration leadership for project/team plans.
• Delegate activities to team members and ensure technical correctness.
• Produce estimates to support earned value management (EVM) as CAM.
• Assess performance against baselines and lessons learned.
• Interact with Boeing program personnel and Navy/USAF customers as needed.
• Drive process improvements and issue resolution.
