Job summary

Embraer in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a Journeyman Technician for the 2nd shift to perform assembly and flight preparation on electronic and mechanical assemblies. You will follow diagrams, use precision tools, and support quality teams in troubleshooting and inspections.

Experience with High School/ GED is required; A&P and mechanical/electrical skills are a plus, with structures experience also beneficial.

Qualifications

• ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• High School/ GED
• A&P and mechanical/electrical experience is a plus (A&P NOT Required)
• Structures experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Works from diagrams and drawings, uses hand/power tools and equipment.
• Collaborates with quality and manufacturing engineering for troubleshooting.
• May conduct operator verification quality inspections in flight phase or production line.
• Disassembles, modifies, reworks, and tests assemblies per specifications.
• Follows FAA-approved assembly procedures and OEM data.
