Job summary

Logan Health seeks an A.L.E.R.T. Flight Paramedic to provide life-saving care during air and ground transports.

You will join a specialized team with flight nurses, pilots and emergency medical professionals, caring for neonatal, pediatric, adult, high-risk OB and geriatric patients. The role requires multiple certifications, strict adherence to timelines for ACLS/PALS and trauma certifications, and meeting physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years paramedic experience required.
• Current Montana EMT-P and/or National Registry licensure required.
• RQI Provider certification within 7 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS & PALS required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Trauma certification (PHTLS or TPATC) required; TPATC within 2 years.
• Additional certifications (NRP, STABLE, fetal monitoring) within 1 year.
• Critical Care Endorsement with Medical Director approval within 1 year.
• Flight crew must meet physical requirements, max weight 250 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care during air and ground transports.
• Work with A.L.E.R.T. flight nurses, pilots, and EMS professionals.
• Support neonatal, pediatric, adult, high‑risk OB and geriatric patients.

Skills

Paramedic experience

Montana EMT-P licensure

National Registry licensure

BLS (RQI Provider)

ACLS & PALS within 6 months
