Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Oklahoma is seeking a Flight Paramedic who will perform high-level pre-hospital and intra-hospital care during air transports. You will complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight and support base operations, including safety checks and crew briefings.

Requirements include a minimum of three years in 911 or critical care, current EMT-P license in the states served, and essential certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP).

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting required.
• Current EMT-Paramedic license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count and safety procedures.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact through handoff to the receiving facility.
• Maintain competency through ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Keep licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures documentation up to date.

Education

Current EMT-P license/certification in states served

BLS ACLS PALS NRP trauma certification

FP-C within 24 months from hire

Instructor certifications in BLS ACLS PALS PEPP ITLS PHTLS

NREMT-P certification may be required
