Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Greenville, MS is actively seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our air-transport team. You will transport patients to and from facilities and participate in scene calls while delivering pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care and documenting thoroughly.

The role requires 3+ years in 911/critical care, EMT-P licensure, and FP-C within 24 months, plus NREMT-P as applicable. Base pay starts at $21.32/hr plus a $4.16/hr area stipend with DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) within 24 months of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required timeframe.
• Daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff, with thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Keep licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety and procedures up to date in the Education Manual.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member; attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings.
