Job summary

Guardian Flight is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join a dedicated air medical team providing patient transport and on-scene calls. Expect a 5 days on/10 days off schedule, with company-paid crew housing while on shift and a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments after training.

Responsibilities include completing electronic patient care records, base checks, and delivering high-level ALS care from first contact through facility handoff.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in 911 or critical care setting.
• State licenses and required certifications maintained.
• Flight paramedic credentials preferred within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for every flight within deadlines.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact through handoff.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, CE, safety and procedures documentation.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies used by the program.
• Contribute to crew safety and professional interaction with partners and the public.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings and document outcomes.
• Assist with pre-mission liftoff checklists and pilot-related tasks when needed.

BLS

ACLS

PALS

NRP

FP-C (Flight Paramedic-Certified)

Instructor certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS

NREMT-P certification potentially required
