The position offers a starting range of $86,000–$89,000 annually, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and company-paid crew housing during shifts. Work is in a 5 days on, 10 days off rotation, with training and evaluation supporting career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a 911 or critical care setting as a licensed Paramedic.
• Current EMT-P license in states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Completion and submission of electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required time frame.
• Daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until handoff to the receiving facility.
• Maintain competency through ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures in the Education Manual.
• Knowledgeable in use and maintenance of equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Function as a medical flight member and participate in briefings and debriefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot support as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards before liftoff and conduct aircraft safety briefings.
• Fill open or vacant shifts within assigned area as directed by the Regional Director.
