Guardian Flight in Reno, NV is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join our air transportation team. You will provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care, participate in liftoffs, and ensure patient safety during flight.

This role offers a starting annual range of 76,000 to 97,000, company-paid crew housing, and a 5 days on / 10 days off schedule. You must have EMT-P licensure and at least three years in 911 or critical care.

Formación

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting as a licensed Paramedic required.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Completion and submission of electronic patient care records for each dispatch.
• Daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency via ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and supplies used by the program.
• Foster positive relations with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
