Job summary

Engine is seeking a dedicated flight operations support specialist to provide expert-level assistance with airline bookings, flight issues, and 24/7 operations. You will leverage Amadeus GDS and related systems, while ensuring compliance with airline policies and accurate ticketing procedures.

You will train and collaborate with BPO staff and internal teams, driving improvements in processes and customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting flight operations or airline booking teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Amadeus GDS; familiarity with Sabre and Galileo.
• Strong knowledge of airline ticketing rules and fare constructions.
• Knowledge of airline policies on schedule changes, voluntary changes, and IROPS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex escalations.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and drive training and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for flight operations and booking issues.
• Troubleshoot using Amadeus GDS and other NDC systems.
• Understand airline policies on schedule changes and IROPS for timely decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and airline partners to develop training for BPO staff.
• Maintain knowledge of airline rules to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Analyze escalation trends and recommend process improvements.
• Serve as liaison between BPO teams and operations.
• Document resolutions, workflows, and best practices for knowledge base.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize flight support operations.
