Job summary

The Landline Company in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Crew Scheduler to keep our operations staffed and running on time. You’ll build schedules for CDL motorcoach drivers and staff, manage coverage beyond 48 hours, and coordinate with Operations leaders in a 24/7 environment.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, proactive, and able to communicate clearly under time pressure while maintaining scheduling accuracy across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in crew scheduling, workforce scheduling, or dispatch.
• Experience scheduling a shift-based hourly workforce across multiple locations.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and familiarity with scheduling software.
• Excellent communication and ability to coordinate under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain schedules for drivers and operations staff across station locations.
• Manage the scheduling window beyond 48 hours and ensure full staffing for trips.
• Monitor upcoming coverage, identify open shifts, gaps, and potential issues early.
• Coordinate coverage solutions with Operations leaders, including swaps and overtime.
• Review future schedules for conflicts like time-off overlaps and duty limits.
• Keep scheduling information accurate and communicate changes promptly.
• Assist dispatch desk as needed, handling day-of assignments and changes.
• Support quarterly bid process by communicating timelines and publishing schedules.
• Prepare staffing reports tracking hours used vs scheduled and open positions.
• Serve as the primary scheduling point between SOC and Operations leaders.
• Help develop, document, and standardize scheduling procedures as we grow.
