Job summary

The Landline Company in Fort Collins, CO is hiring a Crew Scheduler to build and maintain driver and staff schedules across multiple stations. You will manage the 48+ hour scheduling window, coordinate coverage, and support dispatch operations in a 24/7 environment.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in crew scheduling, be highly organized, and communicate clearly under pressure. DOT hours-of-service familiarity is a plus, with scheduling reports to track coverage and risks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of crew scheduling, workforce scheduling, or dispatch experience in 24/7 operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under time pressure.
• Experience scheduling hourly staff across multiple locations.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA hours-of-service rules is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and scheduling software.
• Experience supporting a schedule bid process is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain schedules for drivers and operations staff across station locations.
• Manage scheduling window beyond 48 hours and ensure full staffing.
• Monitor upcoming coverage, identify gaps, and mitigate issues early.
• Coordinate coverage with Operations leaders, including swaps and overtime.
• Review future schedules for conflicts and compliance with hours-of-service.
• Keep scheduling information accurate and communicate changes promptly.
• Work dispatch desk as needed to support drivers and day-of-operations.
• Prepare staffing and scheduling reports highlighting open positions and risks.
• Serve as primary scheduling contact between SOC and Operations leaders.
• Help develop and standardize scheduling procedures as we grow.
