Job summary

gategroup in San Francisco is seeking a motivated administrative support specialist to serve as the primary admin for our major client's operations. You will analyze data from custom screens, prepare driver run sheets, and assign drivers to gates and flights.

You will act as QA for meal contents, monitor departure times, track changes, and help relay information to drivers. The role rotates between day and night shifts and reports to the Transportation Manager.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of general work experience in an office or warehouse.
• 1 year of experience directing the work of others.
• 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from custom computer screens and prepare driver run sheets for each flight.
• Assign drivers to gates and flights.
• Serve as the quality assurance specialist, ensuring that contents of coolers and meals meet customer specifications.
• Monitor drivers' kitchen departure times.
• Track all flight, gate, meal order and other changes in flights.
• Back up supervisor duties by relaying changes to drivers and resolving customer problems.
• Check that drivers complete run sheets accurately and meet customer specifications.
• Answer and log customer calls, concerns and complaints and make recommendations to resolve ongoing issues.
• This position will rotate between scheduled shift and vacation relief shift.
