Job summary

BOND is seeking a detail‑driven Flight Operations Dispatcher in Fort Lauderdale to manage real‑time flight tracking, weather and NOTAM assessment, and end‑to‑end trip coordination. You will ensure timely releases and compliant flight plans, acting as the day‑of changes contact for diversions and replanning across a 24/7 operation.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years in flight operations, strong FAR/AIM knowledge, and polished communication.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in flight operations, dispatch, or a related aviation control/coordination role.
• Working knowledge of FAR/AIM regulations, international flight operations, and airspace procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relay time-critical information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize across multiple flights simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor active flights in real time, tracking position, fuel status, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate flight releases and operational flight plans in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Be the crew's primary contact for day-of changes: diversions, replanning, schedule shifts.
• Arrange ground handling, fueling, and FBO services at departure, arrival, and alternate airports.
• Track weather and NOTAMs, flagging concerns or needed route and schedule adjustments.
• Support international trip planning, including permits, overflights, customs, and slots.
• Deliver clean shift-to-shift handoffs and verify flight logs after every trip.

Role Overview

This is a fast‑moving, detail‑driven role: reading weather and NOTAMs, lining up ground handling and fueling at every stop, keeping international trip planning moving when permits and slots are involved, and handing off a clean picture of the operation at the end of every shift.

You're the right fit if you stay calm when three things change at once, communicate clearly under pressure, and are comfortable working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a true 24/7 environment.

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in flight operations, dispatch, or a related aviation control/coordination role.
• Working knowledge of FAR/AIM regulations, international flight operations, and airspace procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relay time‑critical information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize across multiple flights simultaneously.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a 24/7 environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Part 91, 135, or 121 operational experience.
• Familiarity with flight planning software and dispatch systems such as Firelight, FlightBridge, FOS, or comparable platforms.
