Job summary

Pafford Medical Services in Oklahoma City is seeking a Flight Nurse (Part Time) to join the Air Med team. The role provides autonomous, evidence-based clinical care to critically ill or injured patients during air and ground transport.

You will review transport requests, stabilize patients across ages, manage airways, monitor hemodynamics, and collaborate with pilots and EMS crews. Requires active RN license and critical care credentials; travel as required.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in required states.
• 3+ years of recent critical care experience (4,000 hours).
• Current BLS and ACLS credentials.
• PALS/APLS or ENPC credentials appropriate to pediatric scope.

Responsibilities

• Assess, stabilize, and transport patients by air or ground per scope of care.
• Monitor patient, manage airways and ventilation, meds, and hemodynamics.
• Coordinate with pilots, EMS, and referring/receiving facilities.
• Document care and ensure readiness across all shifts.
