Required are an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, pediatric credentials (PALS/APLS/ENPC), and trauma education; CFRN/CTRN within two years is preferred. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in required states for transport.
• Minimum 3 years and 4,000 hours of recent critical care experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS credentials.
• Current PALS, APLS, or ENPC credentials for pediatric scope.
• Current NRP credential when assigned to obstetric/neonatal patients.
• Current trauma education such as ATCN, TNATC, TPATC, or ATLS audit.
• CFRN or CTRN certification must be obtained within two years of employment.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening and competency validation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle-operation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review transport requests and handoffs; assess patient; plan individualized care.
• Stabilize and transport adult, pediatric, neonatal, obstetric, medical, and trauma patients.
• Monitor patient and intervene for deterioration; consult medical control as needed.
• Manage advanced airways, ventilation, hemodynamics, meds, and equipment.
• Provide clear, compassionate handoffs and maintain continuity of care.
• Participate in mission briefings, safety checks, and coordination with pilots and EMS teams.
• Complete patient care records, quality activities, equipment checks, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain readiness and safety, report deficiencies and ensure proper safeguarding of patients.
