Med-Trans is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our air transportation team, transporting patients to and from facilities and handling scene calls. The role emphasizes safety and high standards, with a professional crew and ongoing certifications.

The position requires three years of Emergency/Adult Critical Care nursing, RN license in applicable states, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and CFRN within 24 months. Schedule features two 24-hour shifts weekly, plus housing while on shift.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status; CFRN required within 24 months.

Responsabilités

• Assess situations to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care.
• Manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment and regular equipment/base checks.
• Communicate professionally with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews and facilities.
• Share shift change information and maintain regulatory documentation.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
