Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our team of air transportation experts. You will transport patients to and from facilities and assist on scene calls, operating within high-safety standards. Expect two 24‑hour shifts weekly and company‑paid crew housing while on shift.

You will assess critical care patients, follow physician orders, and maintain equipment and documentation. Required CFRN within 24 months, plus EMT/trauma certifications and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care RN experience.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT and trauma certifications as required by state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required before flight status; NRP provided during training.
• CFRN certification must be achieved within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best action for patient care in critical situations.
• Manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians' orders.
• Maintain a safe aircraft environment and perform base and equipment checks.
• Collaborate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift information and maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
• Be on-time, reliable, professional, and uphold safety standards.
